Good vibe, beautiful decoration, clean room, clean common area, polite staff, very soft pillow and comfortable bed, standard thickness blankets. I requested the upper bed because i get hot easily but I don't need to climb on the bed like other hostels, which is very convenient. In the mixed dorm, there are 2 en-suite bathrooms in total. There is a hair dryer / big and small towel / shampoo / jel soap At first, I was worried about privacy because there was no curtain. But when I actually slept, I found that we didn’t care about each other. It’s just that different people live their lives.

Chernchan is a very stylish hostel which we enjoyed staying at. It is very central so that you can easily walk around the waterfront. The staff is helpful and helped us to organize a motorbike.

A unique little hostel. The way the communal area had been decorated was lovely. So interesting. Location was ideal in a quiet side street.. Very close to Waterside Community, restaurants and bars. Short walk to Gem area and night market. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff helpful. Room was large and clean with small balcony.

Beautifully decorated boutique style hostel. Each floor has a chill out area with chairs, books and quirky decoration. I visited mid November 23 and was lucky enough to have a 2 bed room to myself, there were not many other patrons staying at the hostel. Beds are big and bathrooms are clean. Coffee and breakfast were tasty and always beautifully presented in cute dishes/kitchenware (it's the small things!) Good location 5 min walk from a 7/11, and the hostel provide free push pedal bikes to explore the town. Would be 10/10 but I think they could minimise their plastic use.

I read another review saying: "The only thing that makes this place a hostel is the price." Which I completely agree with! As the hostel wasn't too busy I got an upgrade to a private room, which of course was all above expectations. There's a common space which is very chill, you can read a book or do some work. The location is great and there are free bikes that you can use to get around! Whenever I'd have to visit Chanthaburi I'll definitely come back here!

Very nice, sweet and helpful staff. Cool, hipster decor all over the hostel. The hostel is the nicest one I have stayed in while in SE Asia and I have been traveling for 8 months in 4 countries. The staff was very helpful with providing documentation as I extended my visa in Thailand. Without request my room was upgraded, which was a wonderful surprise. Very comfortable beds, too! Chanthaburi is a very fun town with a lot of different areas to explore.

This hostel is exceptional. I had a deluxe room on the top floor, not a shared dorm. The staff were lovely: friendly, helpful and professional, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the room was superb. One of the best places I've stayed in Thailand. Breakfast was delicious too just to top it all off before I left. I will stay here again next time I visit Chanthaburi

The design of the hostel is really beautiful - one of the nicest of many I’ve stayed in over the years in any country. Lots of wood, plants, cute seating areas and eclectic ornaments. And everything is sparking clean. Also the breakfast is fantastic and included. You have to pay for the extras like fancy coffee, but the basic options are varied, portions are good, and the cafe to sit in is really pleasant.
